Recess and Rally (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at www.recessandrally.com and the online spirit-wear stores we run for individual schools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect across both, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Information You Provide to Us

• Orders: When you buy from a school store we collect your name, email address, shipping address, phone number (if provided), and the items you ordered.
• Payment: Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details go directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection — we never see or store your card number. We receive only a confirmation of payment and the last four digits for order support.
• Customer accounts: If you create an account on a school store, we store your name, email address, saved addresses, and order history so you can track orders and check out faster.
• Contact form and email: Your name, email address, school name, role, and any message you send us at hello@recessandrally.com or through our contact form.

Information Collected Automatically

• Cookies: School stores use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your cart and which school's store you are shopping. Our marketing site uses Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, referring source, browser and device type, city/region-level location). You can control cookies through your browser settings.
• Error monitoring: We use Sentry to detect and fix technical problems. When an error occurs, Sentry may receive technical details such as your IP address, browser type, and the page you were on.

How We Use Your Information

• Process, fulfill, and deliver your orders
• Send transactional email about your account and orders — order confirmations, shipping notifications with tracking, password resets, and email verification (delivered through Brevo, our email provider)
• Respond to your questions and provide customer support
• Set up and manage each school's online store
• Keep the sites secure and fix technical problems
• Improve our website and services

We do not send marketing email to store customers.

Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the stores:

• Printful (print fulfillment): receives your name and shipping address so your items can be printed and shipped to you.
• Stripe (payments): processes your payment; see Stripe's own privacy policy for how it handles payment data.
• Brevo (email): delivers our transactional email to your inbox.
• Sentry (error monitoring) and Google Analytics (marketing-site analytics), as described above.
• Your school: for orders placed with school delivery, we share the recipient name and order contents with the school so it can hand out items when the group delivery arrives.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you
• Request a copy or deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
• Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights

Data Security & Retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and we keep order records only as long as needed for support, accounting, and legal requirements. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our stores are intended for parents, staff, and other adults — not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
